Don't change the name of South Shore High. I am a proud graduate with many memories and a success in life due to my education there. We were groomed to be COLLEGE BOUND. KEEP THE SPIRIT OF SOUTH SHORE HIGH ALIVE.

I strongly object to changing the name of my alma-mater. The city of Chicago has a long history of maintaining historical entities. My alma-mater, South Shore HS, is a historical entity on the southeast side of Chicago (aka. South Shore area). -Dr. Wright

Please leave the name as it stands. It reflects the neighborhood and the people who reside in South Shore. To change the name takes away from the value of preserving ones home and neighborhood. This neighborhood, like no other, belongs to the residents of South Shore, past and present.
