We request that the language "other than a declaration of belief in the existence of God" be removed from Article 37 of the Maryland constitution. This article directly conflicts with and infringes upon the first amendment rights outlined in the United States' Constitution.

Its 2017 guys. Maryland really needs to get with the times and stop with these outdated laws. Freedom of religion is supposed to mean freedom from it too.

Ridiculous that this is even still a thing. Keep church and state separate like the constitution actually says.
