As a human factors usability engineer, I have tested reading plus, finding that it causes headaches in both my daughter and I. It also does not align with how people read. If you don't understand something, you skim back through it. RP does not allow this. If kids read the non-blurred pages too quickly, they are chastised. It also really reduces children's enjoyment of reading; both my daughter and I are avid readers, and this had resulted in her not reading for pleasure much :(. I think it is a very bad design, and with an ms in human factors in info design and many years developing applications, I am well qualified to make that declaration.

I hate reading plus so do all my friends my teachers have never sat through a session of reading plus I'm in eighth grade and sometimes its so boring that it causes physical pain. I rather just choose my own books and every month do a book report on it. I'm in eighth grade and my mom is a 5th grade reading teacher, she always tells me why don't you finish reading plus. I always tell her I cant stand it. After this month she's taking her students off it because she sat through a session with me.

I noe have to use glasses because of sitting in a computer for ours doing reading plus . It sucks and it doesnt even help me.

lol reading plus. Waste of time. i could be stduying for calculus which im failig because if i dont do reading plus my LA grade goes down. I rather read an interesting book than read boring stories.

i cant stand reading plus. im failing my algebra class because i spend my whole day doing reading plus. its so much easier to read a good book and write about it RD is a waste of time
