I strongly believe that RP does not serve as an educational tool. RP is a large waste of personal and educational time. If RP was remove for eternity, I strongly believe that students of all ages can concentrate on other beneficial subjects in school, instead of wasting valuable time.

Reading plus I thought will be great but it's still worse before reading plus we got a education now we got stress and no passion for reading we get mad at a program that only fails. I get tears every week from reading plus and get collage student work even though I don't need it now I need my level so I can get better. I can't get every word in my head only the big details that are important but reading plus wants the little details. I going to tell every one who hates it to sign this

I absolutely hate Reading Plus. I enjoy reading, but this is just way too much! I have Algebra, and U.S. History to study, in case you don't realize, I READ when I study, I have to read everything! There are signs, doors, im on Facebook and Instagram. Its not like RP is actually TEACHING me any reading skills. I HATE IT! And I often FORGET! So my grade is dropping because Im a kid and kids forget right? Its absolutely POINTLESS! GO AWAY RP! DIE! SHUT DOWN! EXXPPLLOOOOOOODDDDDDEEEE!!!!

It is completely pointless, stunts my grades, and is a waste of time. Reading Plus is more harmful to students than beneficial, my GPA has suffered because of this Bovine Feces, plus who actually has time for reading plus when your math teacher gives tons of Math Drills, you need to hold a job or you have ACTUAL HOMEWORK.

This is my first year doing Reading Plus. In my previous high schools we never even heard of such a thing. Needless to say, RP caused to me to slowly loose interest in reading.

Reading Plus deprives students from useful time that could be spent doing actual homework, studying or practice. What most administration don't realize is that despite it being the technology era, not everyone has computer access at home or time to visit a local library. For instance, I live in the Everglades where there is no internet connection whosoever; by the time my parents leave work and pick me and my siblings up, it is already late and we don't have time to visit a friend's house and all libraries are closed. If we do go somewhere with computer access, usually only one of us gets to complete a session or two of reading plus because there is only one computer to use and limited time. Therefore only one of us or any of us rarely meet our Reading Plus requirements. It's not fair that it's not.our faults that we can't complete them and it is outrageous to require 6+ sessions of Reading Plus a week!

Instead of encouraging students to read and enjoy what they are reading, this is turning kids away from books and causing them to dislike english classes.

I think it should be removed out of high school curriculum due to its uselessness in the high school environment. High schoolers should be focused on reading actual literature rather than using a reading program that barely helps with reading comprehension and speed.
