Every 40 seconds a child goes Missing. When they have left on their own they are labeled as a runaway and the response is not taken seriously. Many today are being lured via social media game sites and more and are at high risk. One in five are lured groomed and sold into trafficking. Some are sadly murdered. We have to bring awareness that it doesn't matter How they left, they are Missing and in danger. Join our mission to have this label removed. We have to be the Voice for the Voiceless. The emails I receive from families trapped in this system are heartbreaking and remind me why we cannot stop. Bureaucracy is slow moving and indifferent but these children are being exploited while the authorities look the other way. We keep pushing because the current labels are failing the most vulnerable among us.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb but seeing the momentum grow confirms that people finally see the urgency of this change. I am drained from the fight but I am not stopping until these children receive the serious protection they deserve.

My niece went missing and the police just called it a runaway case from the start. They didn't even look for her for 3 days. It makes me sick.
Just stop the labels. A kid is vulnerable regardless of how they got out the door. My heart breaks for these families.
It is unacceptable that this is keeping our Missing and trafficked children from being found and rescued. We have to take a stand!!!!!
I agree no matter how they left, they are not where they are supposed to be. They are missing
Missing is missing. Presuming that the children left all by their own every single time is sad and that label has cost children their lives.

I am the guardian of 1 who is labeled been missing since 2-19-16...no word no help from local pd
