Ridiculous suggestion to name our bridge after Rose Kennedy she has no connection with Kilkenny and never visited Ireland her profession was a socialite a person who plays a prominent role in high society attending various fashionable social gatherings. Hardly deserves to have a bridge named after her.

Rose Kennedy has Nothing to do with New Ross. I think its not appropriate and makes no sense to name a landmark such as this after a total outsider. The Pink Rock is what everyone from the New Ross environs knows this area as, so it would be easy for everyone for it to be named simpley the Pink Rock Bridge.

It is really ridicilous to name the bridge after someone who never visited the town and contributed nothing other than being JFKs mother. Call it The New Ross Bridge or The Pink Rock Bridge or the New Barrow Bridge but for Heaven's sake give the Kennedys a rest. No one will actually call it that anyway.
