Don't name the new bridge after Rose Kennedy

I have great respect for the Kennedys and appreciate all that has been done in their name for our town. But I feel the Kennedys are already very well acknowledged by the town and the townspeople. My own preference is to name the bridge after the Marshalls, Isabel, who was the inspiration for the foundation of the town and for its location, in particular. There is no need to list their incredible contribution to the area - St Mary's, Tintern, Hook Lighthouse, Duiske, the first bridge, etc. Other than a mention in the Ros tapestry there is no tribute to them in the vicinity.

I think that there are many other people that this bridge could be named after. Put it to the people with a vote.

With all due Respect we all loved President Kennedy RIP. But they are not from New Ross Andy Minahan was a great CLLR For New Ross and Others .Rise Kennedy is not a Name for The Town of New Ross Bridge Please listen to the people without the People nobe of you would be Elected So Trread Carefully

It will always be the Pink rock bridge for me.

I thought there was a competition. There should be. Someone would come up with something original

'Pink Rock Bridge' is very appropriate. It doesn't incorporate any name.

Keep it local.

As on the info at the new bridge it's called the Barrow Bridge why oh why can it not be left at that and NO no more Kennedy names please enough is enough esp not after one whose birth place is neither Wexford or Kilkenny
