His contributions to education and community amount to excellence which makes him the perfect candidate for Ranjini (Rini) Ghosh Excellence award. As well as a teacher that I am in gratitude for his contribution to my education. Thank you Dr. Doyle-Wood!

Dr. Doyle-Wood is an erudite individual, that teaches with a sense of humility that it makes me feel fortunate to have been his student. He doesn't speak TO his studies, he ENGAGES his students in conversation. His method of pedagogy speaks to how academia should be thought, with a sense of urgency for change and the betterment of society.

Professor Stanley Doyle is most deserving of this award. His classes are always the most challenging , however we are taught the skills to articulate injustice using an equity framework. Professor Doyle practices equity in the classroom by making himself readily available for his students with accessibility needs or those in need of further instructions. Although many of the themes explored can be advances, I always leave Professor Doyle's lectures feeling more inspired and intelligent.

I met him through the Transitional Year Programme at the University of Toronto. As my professor I learned so much, as my academic advisor I felt cared for, and as a human being I feel inspired. I am indebted to him for playing such a crucial role in my academic experience.

An inspiration, who turns the classroom into a transformative space. Encouraging, motivating, and was the reason I decided to major in equity studies.
