The state should step in to insure that other counties are maintaining what they have in residents/businesses before jumping out for more housing boom. With that said, the people should research from the late 80’s that this bridge project has the same pitfalls since inception. Read the minutes, then be amazed at the timeline. Some have made a financial career into a bridge not built.

This bridge would devastate Corolla, and the 4x area. And completely destroy the tranquility of the area that is already compromised, for both the homeowners and wild horses. The estimated amount of money will prove to be considerably short of what is actually spent on a project such as this- it always is. And especially now, those dollars would be better served elsewhere in the state. As far as an evacuation route, we have at our fingertips the technology for advance notice on storms, hurricanes, torrential rain, anc winds. Please rethink this project proposal and stand for keeping the northern beaches a place we all appreciate and respect.

This would be a complete waste of tax payer money, the last thing we need is more day trippers at Carova.

Not a wise investment. No year around economic stability, endangered wild horses, and little infrastructure to support it. Please instead send funds to western NC to rebuild from hurricane damage.

I see this bridge as a waste of taxpayer money and will forever change this beautiful area. Please find another solution, and preserve this unique spot.

My forefathers on these banks gave me and my relatives this land, The present day folks have not been good caretakers. AND IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE WITH A MID BRIDGE!

I not only believe this is an incredible waste of money but will bottleneck Corolla in both directions when GPS systems will send People from our southern banks through N 12.

Let's keep Corolla, Corolla, and keep corporate greed at bay. Save the marsh and make people wanting to come here put their backs into it,

No way. What a waste of money. Why do it for such a short amount of time each year? Makes no sense. Help the homeless

The 4x4 community cannot support the traffic and growth we have experienced. We are begging for managed access

Until we have stronger governance over controlled development, adequate services to support any growth and affordable local housing for workers that supports growth, the bridge is a nonstarter.

The potential construction of this bridge is unnecessary and will be a huge disruption to the existing ecosystem.

Please look to other options, no to the bridge.

There is no need to glut the northernmost region of the Outer Banks with the continued sprawl which this bridge will promote.
