we actually did it, the district just committed to leed silver standards for all new school builds. i cant believe how much energy you all put into this but it paid off. lets just keep our eyes on the construction sites to make sure they stick to their word.

THINK OF THE FUTURE. WHY WOULD WE BUILD NEW SCHOOLS THAT DONT MEET BASIC GREEN STANDARDS IN THIS DAY AND AGE???
tired of seeing tax money go to waste on inefficient buildings.
new orleans needs to get with the program. better air quality and lighting helps the kids study better anyway.
its about time we started building better for our kids. this is simple common sense.
YES. our schools should be healthy places to learn. the current ones are falling apart and wasting so much energy.
