we need and ordinance to stop these people that are so inconsiderate.

Turn down for peace.

They are far enough away I can't even see the "neighbors" somewhere behind me who have their music blaring so loud that it wakes me up inside my bedroom at night even with the noise of a fan blowing. At the very least, turn down the bass which rattles my windows.

Living next to inconsiderate neighbors in the Woodlands that leave dogs barking outside. One has two beagles that howl at ungodly high decibel level.

Montgomery County needs this Noise Ordinance.

We pay lots of money to own our own property/home. We should have the right to expect peace and quiet on our own property.

I can't sleep at night, my neighbors are outside partying as loud as they can, many nights each week.

people do not care about other peoples right to peace and quiet in there homes we need laws that hit these people in there pockets that is all they may understand

I live in Waller and have the same issues. I can not stress the need to allow counties to create local noise ordinances enough.

I don't live in this county but will sign if it may get a precedent law in place.

We have a gun range located on FM1314 and the noise is a real nuisance as can't enjoy sitting outside on our deck due to noise.

This is necessary to be able to enjoy your time at your home as intended. It is a shame that we have to force others to be respectful.

The noise out here in Brushy Creek subdivision is ridiculous. There needs to be some options for penalizing these people have no respect for anybody around them

I have lived in my neighborhood for over fifteen years and until about 2 years ago it was very peaceful, quiet and serene. That is why we moved here is to enjoy peace and quiet in the country, and sit on the back porch and enjoy nature. Now it is like living next door to Iraq. Some guy and his wife bought just barely over ten acres (15710 Coe Loop, Magnolia) about 5500 feet from our home and has since built a gun range, of which they shoot incessantly all day long, sometimes before 7am and recently until 9:45 PM. We hear automatic weapons, 50 calibers, 45s, rifle shots, explosions, etc. It is like a terrorist training ground. (And it might be) We did not bargain for a gun range. There should be laws to stop someone from operating this way when it poses a nuisance, and interferes with peoples right to enjoy their home. All I hear now when we sit on the porch trying to enjoy some coffee and quiet time is repeated gun fire. The explosions rock the neighborhood and shake our windows. I have had small things fall off shelves occasionally. It is unconscionable that the law is on the side of land owners with more than ten acres in disturbing the otherwise peaceful environment in which we live, And we lived here first. Shouldn't we get a "say" in some one operating this type of range? Don't get me wrong, I am not against guns, I am a member of the NRA. But the law allows persons who own more than ten acres to shoot whatever they want. I think the law is flawed, and the spirit of the law is that the owner, and only the owner has this right, not his guest, or others that he allows to shoot there. I understand hunting, a little target shooting every once in awhile, but every day, every weekend, every Holiday and even on Christmas morning, just constant shooting and explosions is ridiculous, and is out of hand from the intent of the law. I would like to see some people band together and fight these people who come in and take over our neighborhoods with these type activities. A

There are emission control and noise ordinances for vehicles that are not being enforced when owners modify exhaust systems etc. I think the police should make this a priority. No vehicle or motorcycle comes from the factory with a loud exhaust and violators are easily spotted.

My neighbor's 3 loud dogs have woken me up every night this past week. With my windows closed and sound machine running. The same neighbors don't answer their door when I knock to ask them politely to take their dogs inside at night.

MY NEIGHBORHOOD HAS BEEN INFILTRATED BY RENTERS WHO PURPOSELY MODIFY THE EXHAUST ON THEIR CARS. FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN NOISE POLLUTION.

Driven from our house every Saturday night by weekly fiestas whose music rattles our windows in their frames.

We have a neighboring lot of 25 acres surrounded by residential communities that regulary invites groups of shooters to shoot guns including automatic weapons and exploding tannerite on that property. The shooting is constant during the week and the explosions are concussive and have begun to break windows. There is no peace and quiet at hundreds of homes because of the callous disregard for the surrounding homes. Our state legislature should allow us to control our own lives in peace.

We live in a condo. Our neighbor below our unit has her TV on 24/7 all day/all year long loudly. Filing a complaint to our home association didn't work. Putting a friendly note at her door didn't work. We need serious help! All the surrounding neighbors have been suffering. Many have had sleep problem for years!

I'm fed up with the dogs barking incessantly next door, and nothing can be done about it. What's the purpose of living in your own home if you can't live it in peace?

Our neighbor build a large patio cover and another cover coming off the garage and installed 2 big screen TVs, a kitchen, and loud speakers. They party often, loud and late. We have to sleep in our guest bedroom to get as far away as possible. We have complained to them but they don’t care. We need a noise ordinance!

Why do some people think that everybody enjoys listening to their kind of music? It has always been bad, I guess, but having come from 12 acres to a less than an acre I find this type of behavior rude, selfish,and very intrusive & inconsiderate of the other people in the neighborhood!!

Its shame you can't do anything about neighbors that disrespect others by being loud and obnoxious !!! everyone has a right to enjoy their home people invest their hard earned money to enjoy their home... Plus it lowers your property value when you have neighbors that party and curse all through the night !

Royal Forest Colony Club. Construction companies start as early as 6 am, loud and careless driving dump trucks racing through our main, and inner streets. Loud music after dark, firecrackers after 10pm.

Moved here for the quiet.

PLEASE! I've already had a bullet come through my roof and land on the pillow beside me. Now that we're a gun sanctuary city, that's all I hear ALL night long, sick of it! What was once peaceful is now terrorizing. The old saying goes, "give them an inch they'll take mile" smh
