Reckless neighbors let their dogs bark all day and night. I cannot even walk outside of my own home. We should be protected noise nuisance by law!

Tired of idiots literally shaking the walls of my house with their, "hey, look at me! I'm noisy! I need attention" noise machines at all times of day and night. Complete disregard for anyone else.

I wish you well in this mission. I have a problem with the School across the street from my house. I don't have a problem with kids being kids but the coaches play music on an amplifier so load that my older kids working graveyard shift cant sleep. Its painfull

We live in Katy, Texas and a new Crossfit Elevate has opened in the back of our property. They open at 5:00 am in the morning. They keep the back door of their facility fully open with loud music all the time. We are seeing strangers all the time overlooking our back yard. We cannot walk freely in our backyard from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm as there are strangers all the time overlooking our back yard. The facility they run the gym is an old metal shed with no sound proofing or engineering standards. I addition to the loud music we are deeply affected by the thud and vibration of dropping of heavy weights, shouting of clients etc. We have totally lost our privacy, our right to solitude and our family is under stranger danger.

I have a band that plays next door in a tin building, sometimes 4 days a week. I can't even watch TV or go to sleep in my bedroom. I live in the county and the sheriff is either afraid of theem or they just doesn't care.

Noise crossing private property lines is trespass. Time to put some teeth in industrial noise in Texas.... 65 db crossing property lines should be governed

It is quite disturbing that tax paying citizens who live in unincorporated county areas have to put up with such disrespect.

Get rid of the vehicle stereo noise that not only doesn't allow me to enjoy TV but the language of songs that are inappropriate. Motorcycles that think I should be awakened at 2:30 AM by their illegal pipes. Vehicles with no mufflers racing up and down the street. 85 decibels is not hard to hit by any of these people. Getting law enforcement to do something about is hard to do. "I was not here to hear the noise so there's nothing I can do for you".

I own 50 acres, got away from town, shouldn't have to listen to Mexican music!

Thank you for starting this petition. This issue also applies to urban and suburban areas. The quality of life has deteriorated very badly in many areas of Texas due to disruptive noise, which as is correctly pointed out, is actually a military tactic to harass enemies.

Neighbor in country rents an open barn for parties and music is loud until 2 am. Sleeping is impossible. We need this ordinance

I wonder if noise sources are addressed in this section of the penal code. Aircraft noise is a nuisance in our area, just 4 miles from Easterwood Airport.

I am gladly signing this petition against excessive noise! I have neighbors who think it's ok to play loud music, regardless of time of day. If I'm in my house, with doors closed, TV on, and I can hear booming, thumping music, it's too loud, extremely rude and disrespectful to others.

We need to lower the level and add in the base as a form of measurement. It can be difficult to convince law enforcement that the base on moderately played music can be heard in my house from full the street.

The gym on the back of may house has no sound proofing material on the wall and their music with low frequency invades into my house passing through 60 feet of my back yard. I went to the gym to talk with the owner and contacted the land lord. Nothing has been changed. Several dispatches of constables have been ignored. while there is a right to listen to the music for them, I should have a right not to listen to their music. They are protected by law, I am not.

We have lived in a small town near the square for over 32 years. Recently, a BAR, calling itself a restaurant, became our next door neighbor. Our city officials are more concerned about the tax revenue than they are about protecting the sanctity of our homes and neighborhood.

I support this petition. Excessive loud music especially the loud bass from vehicles and neighbors (inside or outside the home/apartment unit) is disrupting my quiet enjoyment of my property, my peace, and affecting my psychological, emotional and physiological health in a negative way. Noise regulation should also be in terms of sound frequency or Hertz/hz. Loud bass is not safe because it is a low frequency sound wave/vibration. Low frequency (LFN) sound wave is harmful to the health. LFN 0-20 hz is not audible but detected by the body. Bass is 60-250 Hz is both audible and felt by the body. One article I read said that frequencies below 100 Hz travels really far. One LFN wavelength can be as big as 17 meters of 55.77 feet. This is explains why it can pass THROUGH windows, walls, concrete, and the human body. When low frequency soundwaves pass through the body, our body vibrates - our organs, muscles, cells; picture yourself being subjected to unwanted vibrations/shockwaves. Also, we can feel the bass from can travel far from distant events or parties next door because it can travel far. Bottom, attack the loud noise issue both as decibel (DB - measure of loudness) and Frequency (Hz). The physiological and psychological pain we experience come from uncomfortable/harmful sound levels and unwanted bombardment of frequency sound waves/vibrations.

This is a clarification. The human body has its own sound, eg heart beat and breathing. It has its own frequency, the heart has its own frequency. The problem is when unwelcome LFN coming from outside the body, eg loud bass music, clashes with the body's own frequency as the external LFN passes through; the organs ,muscles and fluid inside vibrate. Sound travels faster in liquid than air; human body is 60% water. Imagine the ocean wave meeting the river wave. The unwelcomed frequency causes physiological and psychological side effects - eg increased heart rate, heart palpitation, muscles shaking, headache, tension and anxiety.

Whiskey River regularly plays music between 85-95 db that keeps hundreds of homes awake from 9pm to 2am Wed-Fri since the start of 2019. Our only recourse is legal, because they refuse to work with us.

I've lived off 6th St. in Amarillo Tx. for almost 39 years and there is a sign about noise ordinance but it's just there. No one cares! Especially, motorcyclist. Have to always call police. No respect for working people!

Please let me know what I can do. I moved to Crosby Tx about 13 years ago and it was peaceful. I bought a 15 acre plot of land that backs up to the forest. Since then there has been an a couple of UTV/ATV parks on river about 2 miles away that have been opened. It is a constant battle with humming noises of hundreds of UTV’s and not to mention the music with booming sounds that shake my house. Last night it was till 240am after several calls from the community! I am tired of this and will do anything it takes to stop this ! Please let me know what I can do to help! Perry

Please make this noise violation apply to all Texas county's. Rural people are sick and tired of the police telling us you can't make the neighbors turned down there loud music because there are no noise ordinance in the county. We deserve a decent night sleep like everyone else!

I live in Tom Green County and have called the Sheriff's Department due to loud music at 2am and they told me that there is nothing they can do to the fact of there is no ordinance. I am a working taxpayer and need sleep to function, I consider their attitude towards the noise very uncaring and rude.Texas needs change now in regards to noise.

We have ONE neighbor within our sight. They have many dogs - they bark all day and all night. They moved in one year ago, and we haven't slept peacefully since then.

I love music just as much as anyone. However, I would be mortified to discover I was disturbing a neighbor with it, regardless of how loud *I* thought it was. (As if people have nothing better to do than stop everything they're doing to ask a neighbor if they can turn their music down a little.) Most people hate to do this (and even more so when it's a neighbor). Anyway, not everyone has my taste in music, and I don't expect them to. I'm just asking for other "music lovers" to consider the same thing. But then... Then there are the purposefully vindictive urban terrorists, the elusive BASS BOMBERS, for whom disturbing others is a vocation and what gets them out of bed in the afternoon... The ones who know EXACTLY what they're doing... These are the jokers who revel in the twisted practice of rolling into quiet, sleeping neighborhoods for the sole purpose of jolting residents awake in horror with sudden, sadistic, 15 to 20-second eardrum-perforating blasts of earth-jarring, internal organ-bursting BASS from their high-end (or not-so-high-end) car stereos—before peeling off violently into the night. Left in the BASS BOMBERS' wake is the resulting chaos of triggered car alarms, frantically barking dogs, an overloaded 911 system jamming up, traumatized grannies, screaming babies, and motion-sensor porch lights popping on and off erratically... The law making THAT form of psychotic mass torture illegal needs to be bumped up to a felony. A violent felony. Thank you for listening.

I love Formula One....but keep it off the streets.....it is noise pollution and bad for us.
