In the last 4 months we have also has 6 different forms of privacy invasion and theft..2 canoes....1 guests vehicle damaged and personal belongings stolen..2 days ago...banana boat and engine stolen. The police in Siavonga do nothing about the reports that we hand In to them..if we report something we either have to pay fuel money or they say that they have no transport available...when calling with a problem, we are told to come and write in the OB book...we a Ms Lodges cannot afford to replace all the properties that are stolen each month and pay guests to replace goods and fix vehicles...

This petition is on point. Moreover, the rig operators should be obliged to instal more efficient quieter engines than the present engines. They should also consider using solar engines than the current petrol engines.

To me as a tourist the nightly rumblings from the fisher boats were badly annoying my tranquillity during my stay at Eagle's Rest this summer, additionally their hundreds of lights to lure the fishes also is a bad pollution from natural at this beautiful area. I demand to prohibit fishing here and enforce the laws.

noise pollution , oil pollution , overfishing , etc . It is time to stop this environmental disaster , the lake is more than 270 km long we the residents and hoteliers ask for far less than 10km kilometres of a no go zone for commercial fishing from dam wall to banana island .Siavonga should look better after the tourist sector who brings more & more revenue into the area .

This disregard of the laws by the fishing rig owners is despicable and has been going on for years. THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!! It is so irritating that they come so close to the shores of the Lake. Why can't they fish from further into the Lake? How difficult is it to give the residents some peace from the noise pollution? It's about time the Authorities enforce the laws or is there a "conflict of interest" somewhere?

Kapenta rig waste being effluent, oils, fuels, plastic garbage, light pollution, noise pollution all must be controlled and regulated. As well as the numbers of vessel and where they operate.

Too many kapenta rigs. They park right infront of the house and produce noise and light all night.

This petition is really necessary due to the bad control on all the kapenta and licences . There is no control applied to this industry.
