Former Clarksburg Rd resident, this is a terrible idea.... especially when there is an industrial park with plenty of space just down Stratford!

I do not want the increased traffic every morning for my drive to work and trying to go into town. The new idols road extension traffic was awful!

As a homeowner I’m concerned this proposed “Business/Industrial Park” will immediately cause our property values to decrease. I would think this would also concern the County Commissioners since it would reduce property tax revenue. I don’t understand how the County can proceed with a project and ignore their own UDO’s.
I’m not proposed to growth; there are so many options available to the County to improve this land responsibly while protecting our property values which in turn would protect the County’s tax revenue. Anything less is foolhardy.

I am against the plans for this industrial park. Traffic on Middlebrook is heavy enough and timing the lights did nothing to help when we had rd. closures due to construction on Hampton. Rd. The effect on property values is a real concern to me.

This proposed industrial park would be a burden to the surrounding community and reduce their property values. Please stop this!

Please find a more suitable use for the parcel on Idols Road. Green spaces are needed for a healthy community, how about trails for biking, etc? Would fit perfectly near the ballfields. I protest the business park idea. Thank you for serving THE PEOPLE of Clemmons and Clemmons West.

Very disappointed that even after all the facts that have been presented, facts that include information that, if the right research had been done prior to the plans, would of not approved it, the county is still moving forward. Either the required research was never done in the first place or, there are some shaddy agendas being played out.

I am against this proposed site. It would lower property values, create excessive traffic including large trucks, and it would create noise /air pollution in a neighborhood community. Would you want this in your backyard? I'm sure not!

When Hampton Road was closed for construction, we saw a tremendous increase in "cut through" traffic by non-residents of our community. Many of these non-resident cut-throughs were not concerned with the speed limit nor safety of other motorists/pedestrians. Our children were at risk walking to/from bus stops, as well as waiting at the bus stops. I suspect that the industrial park would lead to this increased activity in our neighborhood becoming the new norm, which is not a good thing.

This proposed industrial site will sit between two large residential neighborhoods - Clemmons West and Salem Glen. All of our home values will plummet. The traffic alone will be a mess as we already have major issues with congestion and accidents. No truck driver will use the Idols Rd. extension because coming off of 40 at LV-C Rd would be the most direct route. If any of the county commissioners lived here they would not be in favor of this. Please, this is not the place for a business/industrial park. It is not good for us and to be honest, it is not easy access for the truck drivers either.
