Clemmons growing up was a village with strip malls. We grow, but there aren’t well thought out plans to deal with traffic, noise, pollution, and decreasing (there isn’t anyway this won’t impact neighborhoods remotely close to Middlebrook, Idols and Hampton Roads at a minimum), to say nothing less of keeping Tanglewood Park more of a beautiful area, instead of large trucks and pollutants emerging. Job growth is great, this has not been well planned.

As a bicyclist and volunteer in the area (as well as resident), adding truck trips, increasing traffic and noise on or near Clemmons West/Middlebrook is not beneficial at all. Budgets have been overrun, pollution... the list continues.

This will absolutely lower property values, the budget has been overrun and the traffic is not needed near or on Middlebrook!!!!!

The number 1 issue is there is a complete lack of infrastructure to safely allow for the increased truck traffic on Middlebrook, down 158, or up Lewisville Clemmons Rd. When the beltway is completed, if it ever happens on the Clemmons side of Winston, we may have the infrastructure And ability to encourage traffic to take the Idols extension to the beltway and avoid the local streets. Until then, this is a disaster waiting to happen. The second issue is from a monetary standpoint. What estimates there are, which are few and far between, indicate that Clemmons goes 40+ years before a NET return is realized. Third, as an industry professional, I see very little draw to this exact location given the other opportunities to develope land closer to the 40 corridor in other areas of Forsyth County. This has all the looks of a project that starts and takes 20 years and 2+ market corrections to complete. When that happens the fear is a lack of control over who comes into the park as priorities change with leadership. Just say no to this terrible idea.

No Industrial Park! Negative impact to the community outweighs the small financial gain.

There are many things that Clemmons might need but an industrial park isn't one of them! Let's use this space to promote what is already good about Clemmons...the friends, families, and fellowship that makes this community special!

This would be highly detrimental to our community.

Please find a better use for this land, I prefer a green park or a wildlife refuge. Thanks!

Stop the industrial park. Traffic is going to be a problem and our property values will drop.

I am opposed and appalled at this proposal. The County Commissioners should be representing the families that live here. It is the residents that make Clemmons appealing . This “park” will result in an increase in traffic decreasing family safety and increasing in crime . Remember who you represent. Clemmons West and Salem Glen House many residents who do vote and pay taxes. Do you really want to watch responsible residents who positively contribute to our county flee leaving this area desolate? I know once my girls are grown I am free to pay my taxes to a county who prioritizes the well being residents.

This would create a huge problem with the already congested traffic in Clemmons, especially at the intersection of Middlebrook Drive and Hwy 158/Clemmons Road. This intersection is already experiences long traffic backups from about 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, and the increased traffic would create an even more impossible situation. This "light" industrial park should not be allowed to go forward in Clemmons!
