I want to see the world flight free due to max carbon emission issues

This is such a sensible idea. And one that in particular the better off should be making, as they are overwhelmingly the biggest users of air travel.

I have not flown for some years. I have set my family a personal CO2 budget at a low level that will not destroy the planet. Flying is the one thing above all else that would destroy any possibility of keeping our carbon footprints to an acceptable level.

I don't think it's morally defensible.

Stepoi g on a plane should be a rare occurence. Air pollution and noise pollution are killers. Noise pollutiin leads to many health issues. We’re blindly, uncaringly creating major problems when we step on an aircraft. The aviation industry hides a lot and regulates itself pretty much.

I pledge not to fly in 2019.

I took the ferry and train Wellington to Christchurch, but am flying Wellington to Nelson due to lower carbon footprint - otherwise I would sign this petition. Kia Kaha

Since 2012, I've had one (large) flight event that felt unavoidable. I don't think of flying anymore as something I do. So unless there is another health emergency - I will be fine!

At last I have signed it, having recommended it to many others.
