Please do not destroy the tranquility of the Tanglewood Park for walking and other quiet activities! And, we do not need more traffic in the park or on Hwy 158!!!

The proposed center would ruin the tranquility that exists now at the park. Currently motorcycles are not allowed. The proposed center would probably have to allow them and countless other vehicles totally causing a traffic and noise nightmare.

Too beautiful of a natural area too ruin with more buildings. Horses make Tanglewood unique to any surrounding parks.

Save our outdoor spaces for greenery and clean air. We need wide open spaces for fresh air and quality of life. It would also interfere with the small town feel of Clemmons!

Have you seen the area around any other event center? I feel like this would ruin Tanglewood park. Tanglewood is one of my absolute favorite places in the area. I especially love the stable area. We walk and walk and then the stables are where we linger for a nice break. It’s so beautiful!! I can’t imagine a huge, ugly events center. Or any massive building. It would absolutely ruin it. Pleeeease find another location for the events center. I do feel like an events center near Clemmons would be great, but there has got to be another place.

Please put this events center somewhere else! Tanglewood park needs to remain they way it is and the Clemmons West needs to be protected.

Please don't be fooled by what you read in the Winston-Salem Journal or hear from sources, even if its a County Commissioner until Tanglewood Park is removed from consideration by the County Commissioners by vote or them taking formal positions on the issue, you can be assured that Tanglewood Park is still the site. Have any of the Commissioners taken a public position against this site? No. Has the County Staff removed this site from consideration in the presentations to the public? No, it is still in their slide deck as of Tuesday 8/3. The County's entire communication effort the past two weeks has been an effort at delay and obfuscation to put out the dumpster fire that the County Manager created for them. They will be back with this same site after the fuss had died down.
