Tanglewood is one of the few remaining tranquil places with gardens, horse facilities, hiking paths,etc. All of the peace and quiet would go away. It’s perfect the way it is. Leave it alone!!

I can’t believe they want to put a huge events center that close to horses. This is not only unsafe for the animals (unruly people who know nothing about these animals and ignore signs about feeding or touching them) but also stinky for people going to whatever hypothetical event there. This will ruin the charm of the historic barns and also the nature trails that encompass that area. This is a TERRIBLE idea.

Tanglewood is not the place for an event center! Please don’t ruin our park. Don’t ruin our community. This will destroy home values. It’s also not fiscally sound so not a good use of our tax money. We are the tax payers and we say NO.

I love walking my dogs in the peaceful natural beauty of the park. The event center will only disturb the beauty. I oppose putting the event center and new parking lot at Tanglewood Park.

The traffic is already too busy in this area. This event center will only make it worse and will result in more car wrecks on this road.

Clemmons traffic is a night mare e edy day. Add in the Festival of Lights and many residents are confined to their homes after dark. Why not focus on a traffic problem solution before greatly adding to the problem. I have actually spent as long as 2.5 hours in my car, smelling exhaust fumes trying to get home from Salem Glen to Thoroughbred Road.

Sad day in the neighborhood if this happens. Presently some neighbors plan to move...some who have recently moved right across from the park..... .
Beautiful park going to vanish to more noise, more pollution, loss of wildlife, traffic problems worsened to get home, safety for park goers lessened, home values lowered, and crime rate will rise ....etc
Please stop and think ...please do not do this to our park and surrounding communities....thousands of residents affected.
