Put the event center at another location and do not change the serene and pleasant surroundings at Tanglewood. Do not need the traffic or congestion.

The Reynold's family willed the Tanglewood property to the citizens of Forsyth County to share as a public recreational park. It is our duty as citizens of Forsyth County to protect this land for generations to come. All focus should be on conservation and nature appreciation. Efforts should always work to secure the viewshed, protect the watershed and save wildlife habitats. All efforts should be to steward the land forever to make Tanglewood a forever park.

Please, no event center at Tanglewood Park. There are other County properties that would be more appropriate for locating this event center including CG Hill Memorial Park, Horizons Park, and the Rolling Hills property near King. These properties have enough space that are not located so close to residential areas.

It would be a travesty to locate this monstrocity in Tanglewood Park. This is completely against the intended use of land that the Reynolds family intended. Communities need green space, do not cannibalize this natural treasure!

Where will the horses pasture if the events center were to be placed on the pasture that currently doesn’t flood? This event center would completely alter the usage of a large part of the park severely cutting back on green space, and limiting casual park use of a chunk of land.

Please save the peace and tranquility of Tanglewood Park. If we give up the open space and tranquility of Tanglewood Park, we will never get it back. I understand Forsyth County is trying to build a new park near Belews lake. We need a new park in the north east portion of Forsyth County, As we build a new park in the north east portion of Forsyth County, we do not need to destroy one in the south west portion of Forsyth County. Please no new event center in Tanglewood Park. LDW
