This is a local park. I am against any event center to be located in the park. Many of the reasons have already been cited, so I will not repeat them.

The counties own study of the project says it all, it’s a money loser and guess who gets stuck with the bill.

Anyone who visits Tanglewood Park appreciates the beautiful nature and scenery afforded to the public as a true oasis in Forsyth County. It was a wonderful gift from the Reynolds family and should be preserved, not commercialized. It is absolutely one of the nicest public parks in all of North Carolina, in the Southeast for that matter. An event center would degrade this public treasure. Of all the places to have an event center, Tanglewood Park would be the least appropriate location!

The proposed events center does not belong in Tanglewood Park. I oppose this event center in Tanglewood.

I am totally against destroying the beautiful landscape just so politician can line his/her pockets with cash or further their political career. Why would we want to increase traffic on hwy 158? How many "events" will be needed each year for this deal to be profitable?
