AGAINST Tanglewood Events Center

It will back our development and create too much noice. The Traffic is backup as it is on 158. It’s a peaceful park leave it that way.

This would be a travesty at Tanglewood.

Find another location!

I am against the Tanglewood Event Center.

It’s incredibly frustrating to me that the city is willing to invest money in a useless project like this but not upgrades to the park like a new, accessible playground, improvements to the dog park, or even an automated gate system for annual pass holders.

This project is simply too close to dozens of private family residences. The noise from events now held in this beautiful Park is bad enough and these expansions will only make it much worse including the possibility of "Festival.of Lights" traffic year round! Please search for more acceptable sites! Thank you!

I’m from Winston Salem and grew up going to Tanglewood. I also had my wedding reception at the Manor House. I believe in preserving the integrity of Tanglewood and the wishes of Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds.

This is a waste of a building and it’s taking over a green space for no reason. Nobody enjoys clemmons enough to come to an event center, that’s why we have Winston. If you’re trying to build a better community - maybe start with other things besides superfluous buildings.

I am very disappointed with this proposed plan. Our taxes were recently raised in part to address stormwater issues, yet this facility would drain into the very creek that is threatening our homes. Flooding is already a major issue in parts of Clemmons West, and this could be the straw that breaks the camel's back. It is very disheartening to be told that Clemmons flooding will be addressed, only to have this plan put forward that will directly contribute to more water runoff. Additionally, the noise, the increased traffic, the loss of horse pasture, the cutting down of trees for a parking lot are all things that would negatively impact Tanglewood park. Please consider the concerns of the citizens of Clemmons/Forsyth very carefully before embarking on such a detrimental project.

My husband & I are residents of Clemmons West and oppose the construction of a large event center inside Tanglewood Park. It is an unnecessary facility & would cause many negative environmental impacts.

This will impact my daily quality of life as well as those of my neighbors. I also don't want to see the beautiful setting, the quiet nature of Tanglewood ruined by this.

This is a waste of funds. The funds should be used to improve the WS fairgrounds This is a park. Parks are about green space not parking lots and buildings that will stay Unused most of the time
