Much to close to private family houses. We already see flooding covering most of the pasture during heavy rains. The noise has already reached our backyards on occasion and I would expect more to come with the new construction. NO EVENT CENTER PLEASE!

This is very sad to say that none came forward to voice a negative comment for this event center. We were never told of any of this, so how could we say No! to it being built! You literally shoved it down our throats and seem to be going ahead. SHAME on Clemmons Council and the state of NC!

I have been following a proposed site for the new event center in Tanglewood Park. It is with great concern that this site location will not allow access for evening events 2 ½ months out of the year. The park closes at 5pm during the light show as vehicles line up outside the entrance. This will not allow events to be held in the evenings causing a 50,000 sq ft building to sit empty with no events in the evenings. As a Forsyth Co resident we would expect your board to spend the funds wisely and select a location that your residents could use year around not to mention the impact it will have on the park and neighborhoods. Please review your options and make the right decision

The proposed center will take away from the Tanglewood's appealing nature focus. Why not repurpose a nearly vacant strip mall? Or another empty commercial site?

This is a terrible idea...the stables are one of our favorite parts of Tanglewood, and we love how quiet and pastoral the area is. This would be a disaster for the park.

Johnson Creek cannot handle the rainwater runoff now. It backs up into the Clemmons West properties and then floods the pastures it runs through to get to the Yadkin. This location will only add to the runoff/flooding problem. An environmental nightmare.
