It's a bad site in Tanglewood to put an Event Center of this magnitude, ruining the vistas within Tanglewood park. Put the event center over in the new Clemmons Commons area near the support structure there.

We need our wonderful park to stay a park, not another fairgrounds. Let's get the traffic issues around Clemmons fixed before intentionally adding another 'attraction' into the mix.

Do not need another meeting place. Too much traffic and congestion already on 158 and I-40 between exits 180 & 184. Look at number of accidents that he happened around those two exits. Last thing we need is more traffic. Also, why the quickie meeting? At least let the community know. This is another typical gov't. ploy.

Tanglewood needs to remain a quiet and beautiful park! The neighborhood around Tanglewood is disgusted by the noise and traffic that this proposal would bring to our lovely area.

Please do not do this! Tanglewood is a jewel because of what it is now. Find another place for this close to the interstate

I agree that this proposed event center would be counter to the wishes of the Reynolds.

We live in Salem Glen and besides the traffic issue there’s the noise issue. We love our neighborhood because of it’s quiet peaceful natural surroundings, wildlife and low volume of traffic .
All of this would be negatively impacted by the
Proposed activities of a 50,000 square-foot event center in Tanglewood Park.

All of you who pushed this forward know it is a bad idea. Would it make money for the park, yes. Is this potential money worth the additional traffic that you know so well is out of control. Would this potential money be worth devastating home values and wildlife habitats. Is this worth your re-election bids. Our taxes are up to handle storm water runoff. This would increase storm water run off. So are y’all goi g to pay for the additional measures that will be needed to handle the additional run off? NO, of course you won’t. You will raise taxes again for run off and to pay for cost over runs. Find somewhere else. This could be a great idea in the proper setting. Creates jobs, bring in revenue and folks can enjoy. Not in the park or our neighborhood. PLEASE!

This is totally against the vision for Tanglewood and is being driven by financial greed.

It's difficult to conceive that this idea has made it this far. Please shut it down now. The park should be a place for enjoying nature and relaxing with families, riding a bike, taking a walk. Please do not destroy that serenity with this project.

This is a horrible idea. The area floods frequently. The runoff from the paved parking will make matters worse for Johnson Creek and all the homeowners along it’s banks. The noise would be terrible for residents of Clemmons West and would affect home values. Finally traffic is terrible enough in Clemmons.
Done!!
