There are plenty of other sites in Forsyth County that are deforested and more suitable for such activities. The idea of park is to preserver nature, including the woods, flora, and fauna in them. This proposal will cut down trees, destroy animal habitats, and degrade plant life. All for a project that has dubious merit and no guarantee of financial benefit to the county. This sophomoric proposal is going against the historic benefits of parks and the intent of the Reynolds family.

We don’t need events like that at Tanglewood. It would ruin the atmosphere. Put it elsewhere.

Would not be good for our neighbor hood, the horses at Tanglewood, or any of the other animals a park has!

This is not in keeping with the 'nature' of the park. Gun shows? Guns aren't allowed in the park (except concealed) so no gun shows allowed. And where's the parking for all the cars? The fairgrounds buildings have acres of parking. Let's not pave paradise...

This is utterly ridiculous. That space being clean, empty, natural is critical to a lot of people and it's asinine to destroy it. A LOT of people depend on that tranquility and the facilities which exist there now. If you do this, I will sell my house and leave Forsyth county.

Building an event center like what is being suggested will ruin what makes this park a favorite location for many locals.

Traffic is horrible around the park when The Festival of Lights is there and would be just as bad at other events. This would become a constant problem on 158 which cannot handle it. Events will imprison the citizens who live in the area.

Tanglewood was never intended to be a fair ground. Let's keep it the peaceful, nature/animal friendly and golf park that we love! (Also how the Reynolds envisioned it)

Please DO NOT consider this project and the transformation of Tanglewood Park. Leave as is and provide better improvements to the facilities that exist.

Traffic definitely needs to be addressed VERY thoroughly bc as a business owner who is directly across the street in Tanglewood Commons I do NOT want another Festival of Lights type scenerio. Traffic is very dangerous and it's time to address this issue NOW before any more casualties, traffic accidents and emergencies. Hospice could not get to my home in 2020 during the festival of Lights... it's a disaster. We are crying out for help with traffic. I truly believe we need to change traffic patterns ASAP for any event that brings in such a large amount of people!!! Help us please!!!!

This is an area of beauty and tranquility. This is not the spot for an event center. Find another location for your project.
Keep Tanglewood as is!!
I STRONGLY oppose this!
