The event center that is proposed is the last thing this area needs! It will completely change the purpose of the Park, in NOT in a good way. Please, do NOT build an event center in the park at ALL!

I am so against the proposed Event Center at Tangewood because with the Christmas lights each year our lives are put on hold and it’s almost totally impossible at time to get into our homes! Sometimes can’t get in until 11 pm or later. We can hear the music in our homes from the park!

I am a resident of Clemmons West and would be one of the residents directly affected by having this events center in my “back yard”. I believe the ecology affects, noise pollution, increased storm water run off and disruptions to walkers, runners, bikers etc (both during and after construction) would be devastating. I am completely against the construction of an event center at Tanglewood Park.

This is a terrible idea, even if I didn't live on Tanglebrook Trail! This absolutely violates the intent of William and Kate Reynolds, not to mention the negative impact it will have on Clemmons and Clemmons West, in particular. Tanglewood is meant to be a peaceful, pastoral place--not a place for auctions, circuses, or--God forbid--tractor pulls! My heart sank when I read this in the paper, and I hope better hearts and minds will prevail when considering this disastrous proposal.

The horrible traffic during the Christmas light display gives me an idea of what traffic this could bring. The noise involved would also be contrary to the parks current peaceful atmosphere . Please, NO!

This is such an ridiculous idea to put an event center so close to large housing developments that have been here for years. Total disregard for quality of life. Property values. AND PURPOSE behind the Reynolds family values. Shame on the person who thought this was a good idea.

I understand the need, yet I do not agree that it should be in the confines of Tanglewood Park. I would rather see that money build a true Clubhouse. Or an event center in the next giant big box store to close. Put the event center in a redevelopment area, not on pristine park land.
