I think Tanglewood Park is a bad place for an Events Center. It clashes with everything I've ever known about the park. I can only imagine the nightmare if an event were to be held during the Festival of Lights.

This would destroy the beauty and serenity of Tanglewood, a treasure owned by the taxpayers of Forsyth County. Tanglewood is NOT known now as an equestrian facility even though it has stables and riding facilities. Please find somewhere else or something different to spend the taxpayer's money on. This is NOT wanted at Tanglewood.

I sure don’t want my tax dollars going to this when the soccer fields are putting one in as well right across the street. Tangle wood is a nature park not a racing rally. If you want racing there’s a BMX track in the back by the river

I live in Clemmons West and this will effect home owners, traffic issues, wildlife, and water run off!! This is another project to waste tax payers money! Use the money to fix and update what's needed!

This area cannot handle the traffic the event center would cause. It would be like the Festival of Lights traffic, but on a very frequent basis. Business around 158 would suffer because the added traffic would make many business inaccessible. Also, Clemmons west is a low crime area. Having an event center to draw in people from out of this area will have an impact on our crime rate. Lastly, staffing the event center will be a concern. There are rampant staffing shortages across this area and the event center will not be an exception. Tanglewood is currently experiencing staffing shortages. With few employees to staff an event, this will put added responsibilities on law enforcement, fire and rescue.

The commissioners own studies show event centers like this operate at a net loss. Why build something that will mar the character of the park AND lose money?
