No! We did not pick this area for more traffic, loud noises, and anything to do without nature. This is not ok!

This is too close to houses in Clemmons, and will add undue burden to homeowners in our Village.

I live near the intersection of Lewisville clemmons road and middlebrook. We use tanglewood frequently and love the area. We have noticed that traffic increases horribly at major events, making travel impossible. Our daughter lives on rolling brook, across from tanglewood. Travel just to her home from ours increases ridiculously. Tanglewood is pretty much at its capacity if it is to retain its serene, natural, calm nature. Please don't spoil this beautiful place. Thanks.

I am very much against the proposed event center built in Tanglewood Park.

That is what I love so much about the area - a peaceful part of nature. Please don’t destroy that! Tanglewood just wouldn’t be the same.

We have lived in Clemmons for 39 yrs, and enjoyed the safe, peaceful environment. We would need to move if this site were decided upon. Our home would be close to this proposed area and would negatively impact our home value.

I was horrified to learn of this huge building with a 200 vehicle parking lot to be built at Tanglewood. Tanglewood is a jewel in Forsyth Cty. for any nature lover to enjoy. This monstrosity sounds to be all about money, ignoring the beauty and all the outdoor activities that goes on
out there. Please, please build this somewhere else. Don't ruin our park

I am a resident of Forsyth County and a regular user of Tanglewood Park. The Event Center would be a disaster and a huge mistake. It would destroy the nature of the park and add a horrible burden to the traffic on Rt. 158.

I attended the meeting last evening, 7/29. From what we heard, the forecasted potential for breakeven is a possibility but is in question. With the uncertainty in costs to build and operate in the current inflationary environment along with the great opposition in Clemmons, it appears it would be to the county’s best interest to cancel plans for Tanglewood.
And why would you proceed with such opposition from the neighboring residential homes including the townhomes across from Tanglewood. Traffic is already a problem.

This huge building belongs in a business park, which works for other cities, not in a beautiful park designed for outdoor use. Also, the bid should have stayed local. Very bad decisions. I hope that others will join me in November to start voting the in favors for this out.

I frequent Tanglewood Park on a daily basis and I do not want an Events Center that’s gonna create more congestion, pollution, and traffic. What a terrible idea!

Please consider putting somewhere there is concrete and parking lots, not the greenery of Tanglewood Park.

I already avoid Clemmons at times because of the inadequate traffic management capacity. How long will it be before home values decrease because of poor planning.

Tanglewood Park cannot support a 50,000 sq ft facility w/200 parking spaces. Many trees would need to be cut & wild life habitat destroyed. It is a peaceful place not a place for tractor pulls & gun shows.

I can see this being the start of further building projects taking away the beauty of the park. It seems there should be plenty of space in the Winston-Salem area.
