The Event Center would cause too much traffic in the area and is inconsistent with natural beauty of the area. Build the Center somewhere else.

I lived Red Bank Road near Horizons Part for 16 years. I'm retired from law enforcement in Forsyth County. The argument that Red Bank is the way to the park doesn't hold water..The new beltway crosses Hwy 8 a couple of mile from the other entrance. The new beltway would allow travel from as far away as High Point and points in between as well as from the north at Rural Hall/Bethania and King...thus cutting down on use of county and Highway Patrol officers as is used at Tanglewood...allowing for enforcement and protection of the public...

I took horseback riding lessons at Tanglewood as a kid, worked at Tanglewood for many years, and even got married there. This events center would destroy the serene, small town feel that most people seek when they visit this park.

I live across 158 from Tanglewood and treasure its walking trails. Putting an events center in the middle of the park would be an abomination.

The proposed center is the equivalent of dropping a supermarket into the park, only with more noise. It is inconsistent with the intent of the Reynolds bequest. That intent has already been eroded by the growth and duration of the Festival of Lights, which has become a public nuisance. To slap in an events center would ruin the park's remaining recreational value.

Please consider building this events center in a location that is not used by hundreds of local residents for recreation and exercise!

Please don’t take away the beautiful area and walking trails. Put it where the bmx track or away from the trails are.

I think the events center will change dramatically the beauty of the park with traffic and more. I go there for peace, serenity and quiet!

The traffic into Tanglewood is high enough already. With this, there will be traffic jams and the park will be much less useful.

If you want concerts, horse shows, etc., use the fairgrounds or coliseum. Leave Tanglewood alone.
