There are other locations within Tanglewood that would not interfere with existing facilities and disrupt residents adjacent to the park.

I'm concerned about the traffic an event center would cause in the area. Traffic has increased substantially since I moved into the area 4 years ago and adding a event center here would only add to it. It's starting to lose its peacefulness.

This would just add additional traffic to 158 which is already a traffic jam because of the work on I40 and it would destroy a beautiful park where anyone can go to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet

Please don’t do this! It would ruin the park. There’s already a large facility at the park. It’s all the park needs

Adding an event center will ruin the peaceful scenery and tranquility of the park. There is no need to have something so noisy and busy like that in a place so beautiful.

We live on Dock Davis Road and bought here in part because of the proximity to Tanglewood. We want a park. Not a parking lot and yet more traffic. It is already impossible to drive across town 2 months of the year with the FOL. We do not need this traffic all year.

Tanglewood is a PARK not a parking lot. This is inconsistent with the purpose of Tanglewood. No one wants a walking path around a parking lot.

This project is ill-advised and the bond proposal passed in 2016 has no requirements for the construction of a event center. Furthermore, at this location Forsyth County residents will be funding a project that will likely subsidize Davie County businesses. As currently proposed this project is ill-advised - at best.

As a resident of old Meadowbrook we do not need anything to cause more traffic. It's hard enough to get out onto 158 and almost impossible during the Tanglewood christmas lights. so no to more events.

Can we please keep one area to enjoy in peace. This is such a beautiful nice walking park. If you bring in these events you're inviting more than you're wishing for. Keep it in the city at the coliseum.

Use the Forsyth County fairgrounds for the events targeted for this project.
Stop frivolously spending tax dollar

The Lawrence Joel Coliseum is over 25,000 square feet and seats over 14000 occupants and the traffic it brings is huge. A 50,000 square foot structure
and huge in parking lot to accommodate is incontiguos with the useful purpose of Tanglewood Park and the surrounding neighborhoods of being a serrene, uncongested place to raise a family. In addition to something I did not vote for and do not want, it'll be a double insult when the county increases our taxes to support it.
