I/We the resident(s) of the subdivision Dove Meadows, Spring, Texas in Harris County are petitioning the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission that the planned retail establishment to be named Houston Beach Bums be refused a license to sell alcoholic beverages at 3410 FM 2920, Suite 10, Spring, TX 77388. I/We are requesting that these actions be taken because the planned establishment will be within 300 feet of multiple single-family residences and in close proximity the intersection of FM 2920 and Meadowhill Drive. The said intersection has been the location of innumerable automobile accidents, of which, there have been at least three fatalities. I/We the residents are convinced that allowing Houston Beach Bums to serve alcoholic beverages will only exacerbate an already dangerous situation, at the said intersection, and be a danger to the safety and health of our residents.
