We, the following, oppose the granting of Special Use Permit # 13-77021 to DTN Management for the operation of a plasma center in Carriage Hills Shopping Center, 6075 Hagadorn Road in Meridian Township, to be operated by CSL Plasma, King of Prussia, PA for the following reasons: • the safety of our children and ourselves, • the negative impact on area economic development and property values, and • the inconsistency of the plasma center with the Meridian Township Master Plan.

We submitted 250 signatures against the special use permit for the proposed plasma center at the Nov. 18 planning commission meeting, and the commission voted unanimously against the permit. However, it may not be over. The commission will officially rule on this Nov. 25. The ruling can be appealed, and the township council could make the final decision. That's why we continue to welcome new signees for this petition.
