I don't think it is birthing partners that are putting people at risk. It is SHE due to lack of PPE gear. Ireland has the highest in the world health workers infected.

Please please people get signing as this needs to be lifted. No mother should be alone for delivery we need our support!!

Given the current circumstances the pregnant lady should at least be allowed to have 1 member of her household present for the birth as they are all self isolating together.

Not every hospital is banning partners so why does Mullingar have to? What's the extra risk??
No mum should have to birth alone especially a first time mother!!!
