Because there isn't enough infrastructure on the island to make it so residents don't have to leave to get necessities, it is unfair to charge them for those trips

I'm sure the business owners don't want it either. If you want a gated community, build a gate around the luxury condos -- if they ever get built. But don't penalize the businesses and others who are trying to do business there.

Charging residents a toll is ridiculous in one direction, much less both directions. If you must charge a toll, exempt residents.

Never had tolls, never should. Absurd to charge people to leave and return home.

NO TOLLS! It is lost on no one that these proposed tolls appear to be a sub rosa form of gentrification in which poor and moderate income residents will be forced off Treasure Island to make way for a monied class to whom such tolls will be a tiny financial "burden." Treasure Island is one of many San Francisco neighborhoods, and none of the others suffer entrance and exit tolls. As such, the proposed toll plan violates the 14th amendment of equal rights, is unconstitutional, and, therefore, can never stand.

Treasure island residents should not have to pay vehicle toll just to get to their homes. it is unfair, it is irrational and if anybody should have to pay a vehicle towed to come onto the island it should be tourists who just stop in the middle of the road to take photos

When the new defunct Redevelopment Agency slipped in the special toll double pay option .. it was a ammendment added not by a San Francisco representative by a East Bay one who made sure that w majority of the toll money will go to the East Bay transportation agencies ... and was signed by Arnold Schwarzenegger

Residents SHOULD NOT have to pay tolls to leave and return to their homes. The Board should find a more EQUATABLE WAY of meeting the City expenses.

it is unfair that we have to do this every day and not get anything back from it. we are not made of money but have to work hard for it> we already have to pay rent now that every thing in TI has been closed.
