I am in shock! What an abomination on a National Nature Reserve. I am finding it hard to comprehend that a Wildlife Trust could even consider such a dreadful construction on an unspoiled wild place like Spurn. Come on folks, show YWT exactly how we feel. Sign now before it is too late.

Surely the new centre can be accomodated without destroying one of the best bits of wildlife habitat in the Spurn area.

YWT needs to think what the organisation is about-preservinh habitats or selling plastic gulls and tea in visitors centres. Look at the money wasted at Cley as the marshaland degrades with hte sea defences !

The ptoposed Visitor centre would be an eyesore, and the expansion of the Blue Bell would be a much better idea. The car park could be sited there too. For those who can't or don't want to walk to Spurn, why not provide a cheap shuttle bus, either combined with the car park ticket, or at a nominal price for walkers and cyclists?
