Spurn is a national NATURE reserve of international importance. By definition nature should and must be the 'raison d'être' of its existence. To compromise this by such a totally insensitive development as this proposed visitor centre goes against the whole ethos of nature conservation. YWT seem to have lost sight of what nature conservation is all about.

The proposed centre has nothing whatsoever to do with conservation of a wonderful, wild place but rather with trying to generate income for YWT.

this will totally ruin what is a quiet and pleasent area,it will deter a lot of people from visiting the area,it has already put me of visiting the area and its not complete,the area is becoming to commercialised,what next....fun fair rides and amusements?

Spurn Point, as an attraction to visitors, is being ruined and commercialised by people who understand very little, if anything, of the History and Heritage that is valued by all those who have lived in the area or who have taken holidays at the various sites. The objective of this exerxise seems to be, to deter visitors so that the Birdwatchers etc. can claim it as their own. We were regular visitors over many years but the area has been spoilt for ordinary folk.

use the Blue Bell Visitor Centre that was the reason it was GIVEN to you. it was renovated as a VC and then you just leased it out you do need a new building use that one properlylry
