It seems perverse that a wildlife organisation [YWT] should be promoting a vanity project in a location that is especially sensitive for migrating birds. It will also have an unpleasant urbanising impact in an area that is natural and unspoiled. YWT should consider developing their existing Blue Bell visitor centre.

Don't spoil the isolation of Spurn. Plenty of room at either Kilnsea or Washington for casual visitors.

although I welcome a visitor centre what is proposed is unsuitable in its current form. Additionally the locals don't want it. from adverts leading to spurn point they are opposed because of the current construction proposals and there is something about eon and a million pounds. It's worrying if locals are opposed to something like this.

Slightly disappointed at the number of duplicate signatories (Hi, Phil Mountain!) and presumably fake names used on this petition. Who knew Julianne Moore and Richard Dawkins cared so much about this remote wilderness?

Don't agree with the location, prime site for migrant. What about the site of the hotel that I have never seen open!

For over 40 years I have visited Spurn Point in autumn in the pursuit of tired migratory birds. The siting of a new centre as proposed would be highly detrimental to those birds and would be far more suitably housed at the Bluebell site
