The proposed location of the visitor centre is totally inappropriate. If the Trust ignores the gathering opposition to its proposals and goes ahead with this development, then all people who have great regard for Spurn and its environment and who are members of YWT, should consider expressing their displeasure and cancelling their membership of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Money can talk both ways.

i am a resident of Kilnsea and i strongly object to this eyesight being placed in such a beautiful NATURAL landscape. people visit this area to look at the views and capture that feeling of freedom from technology and modern day life, not to come and visit to see a huge building sat spoiling the view. This place is going to need lighting for health and safety reasons, we don't need more light pollution here

Such a shame that YWT are not listening to the visitors. if they get it wrong, like they seem to be, then many visitors may not actually go to Spurn. Then where will the revenue come from. People come to see the wildlife, not a visitor centre. The VC should be unobtrusive so as not to spoil the attraction!
Spurn is a WILD PLACE!!! Please do not spoil this unique natural environment by building a two storey visitors centre.

How can you have spurn visitor centre when the one thing you can't do (unless you are physically strong and the tides are right) is visit Spurn? It just seems a cynical money making project out of keeping with the nature of Spurn.

Let commonsense prevail. This is an inappropiate site for such a development. environmentally and aesthetically it is plainly wrong. I object.
