I have visited Spurn regularly over the pastt 30 years. I am not against a visitors centre just the proposed location.

This proposal represents yet more infrastructure with concievable growth of further hard surfacing of a sensitive locaility. Spurn was bought by naturalists to prevent commercialisation and to conserve habitat n

Is a visitor centre really necessary? The proposed building would detract from the wildness of the peninsula, lead to extra traffic bringing extra visitors to the area and before you know it, there will be fairground rides for the kids &c

Spurn is a wonderful NATURAL habitat - no place for any such building - esp. w stoties high!!!!! A containerof explanatory leaflets is all that is required for any strangers. LEAVE THE HOMES OF EILDLIFE ALONE.
