There is an old saying " If it aint broke leave well enough alone." Spurn is what it is .The present plans will ruin what it is

This is just not needed at all instead of building this they would be better off instead getting the road sorted out once and for all instead of the centre then more people would use spurn i like quite a few other people i know have already cancelled my fee to YWT.

I am the local sub Postmaster for the residents of this area including Spurn and Kilnsea and can see no valid reason for this development.

As a visitor to the unspoilt area of Spurn & Kilnsea, this visitor centre is not only completely unnecessary but will be a blight on the landscape. Totally wrong location & not in keeping with the area.

Why are YWT so blinkered? The proposed visitor centre is in completely the wrong place, destroying wonderful wild much needed habitat. If a centre is needed, why not on the nearby field. As the Point is inassessible for a lot of people, I'm not even sure that a new centre is needed.

The proposed site for the new visitor centre would seem to be completely wrong and just be an eyesore in an otherwise unspoiled area. I wonder who is getting back handers to support this?

We feel the proposed visitor centre would be detrimental to the bird life. If Yorkshire Wildlife goes ahead with this Visitor Centre then we will cancel our membership of Yorkshire Wildlife.

Has this wildlife trust lost its way ? Every bit of habitat is precious in Kilnsea/Spurn it should be protected not spoilt. YWT already have a building 'Bluebell' which houses a cafe and an office which could be updated and it has an upstairs which could be converted
No other new build has been allowed to take place in Kilnsea for many years only refurbs/conversions of existing buildings surely this should continue we do not need a shiny glass box !

Visitor centre at Spurn would be pointless as access to the point will be very limited and would also spoil Spurn as we know it
