No to Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts Spurn Visitor Centre Location

Stop trying to "attract" people to wild places. Those people who love wild places will continue to visit and help protect them. The cafe at Spurn is fine as it is. Is the visitor centre for the staff I wonder??

Keep Spurn wild, if there was a cafe there we would attract the wrong type of visitor.

The obiective of a Wild Life trust should be to enhance the environment, not to damage it.

Wrong location for the proposed visitor centre, there must be an alternative that is acceptable to the majority of people that either live in the area, or visit on a regular basis.

Pointless waste of money in a very high flood risk area. Plenty of other options. Smacks of a determine PR push by a small number of uninformed people in YWT.

I'm not against a visitor centre, it's a great idea but not in the proposed location. It's a completely illogical location as well as being unnecessarily destructive to wildlife habitat.

Wildlife should come first not tourist attractions.

Spurn Point is a beautiful, wild, fragile and wonderful place. The proposed building is wholly inappropriate to the area.

Please leave wild areas alone. There is too much interference by The Yorkshire Wildlife trust. We have hardly any wild areas in England . The last thing Spurn Point needs is an ugly building which will spoil everything..

I find it hard to believe that a so called wildlife trust would even consider building on this site,

visited Spurn today. Wrong location. Develop what's already there instead.

Stop this vandalism.The local people's wishes should be paramount.

Do not violate nature.

Disgraceful proposal from YWT they are prepared to ruin habitat and landscape in pursuit of financial gain.
