Totally against this development proposal. It's greenbelt land and should not be built on, there are no special circumstances involved. The roads/traffic this would cause is not acceptable. Schools, health centres would not be able to cope.

10% growth is too much for this village. Traffic is already atrocious and the proposed access to the development is dangerous to say the least. Turning right onto Park Road will be a nightmare and so 80+ houses-worth of cars will struggle - how many will instead turn left and head up to the roundabout to turn around right by the Lower School? Also, how many people will pop into the corner shop before or after work and try and park in the car park which is already too small at peak times. Furthermore the destruction of green belt land is unwelcome, especially as the development destroys an existing public footpath out of the village across fields.

This development is on green belt land & is disproportionate to the size of the village. The school cannot be enlarged & can only accommodate another 30 pupils. This development of 80 homes is too large & will have a detrimental impact on the village & no obvious benefits.

No need for more houses, traffic bad coming out of church road and other areas in westoning in the rush hour times, the village doesn't need anymore houses built

I am vehemently against expanding the size of our lovely village. I chose to live here because of the small size of this village and the surrounding nature and wildlife and building here would destroy yet another wildlife habitat. We are in a greenbelt and that should be enough to block any new developments. Besides, there are plenty new homes being built in Flitwick and Ampthill. This is already causing a huge influx of traffic through Westoning due to the ever increasing number of commuters. Local schools and doctor's surgeries are full and unable to physically expand. The infrastructure is just not there to accommodate another 82 houses and their occupants. Also, the only location for access to the proposed housing estate is on a blind bend right ouside of Westoning, which would be far too dangerous.

Stop the development
Westoning does not need this number of houses in the small village
We have enough space for the children at the lower school but not to increase this number with 80plus houses

I am very concerned about the additional traffic this development will bring. I do not consider 82 to be a small development in a small village.
Congestion onto the main road at the end of sampshill road is awful in the mornings. The additional traffic which this development will bring danger to children crossing the roads.
My family and I moved to this village away from a busy town because of the surrounding countryside and green belt land. I did not expect for this green belt land to be built upon.

I understand the need for housing, though this should not be considered without understanding that, 1) the school cannot expand, 2) the roads in and surrounding the village are already congested, 3)the local shop & butchers would need expanding.
The village infrastructure as it is cannot support this expansion
