hello all. thank you all for your comments. ive been offline for nearly two months, so if you didnt know. the application for this development is not going ahead.. the council website says it got withdrawn. i dont know if this petition had anything to do with the withdrawal as i had a battle with the council over it to start of with. apparently, they dont except epetitions. in they end, i got them to take the petition under advisement when considering the application, while not actually formally acknowledging its existance, (didnt get that myself). what ever the reason for the withdrawal, i think everyone that signed it is great. thank you

No thank you please feel free to expand on local towns as they have the road next works and infrastructure to deliver new housing. Not a small one road village

This development will completely ruin the village by increasing the traffic to dangerous levels. How can access to the site on a blind bend make any sense? The development was not included in the official sites review which suggests this is just being pushed through to make a quick profit without trying to benefit the village in any way. Speeding along Park Road is already at unacceptable levels especially going out of the village, particularly motor bikes so this will seriously increase the risk of fatalities on that road.

The proposed development is too big for Westoning. It was not put forward during the Central Beds "Call for Sites" (despite being privately evaluated at that time), and so has not been discussed by the residents as part of the Local Plan. It is on a flood plain, on Green Belt land and brings no benefits to Westoning - our infrastructure needs work in order to cope with any expansion!

Current infrastructure already strained with lack of school places, Dr and Dentist surgeries already at optimum levels. Westoning is loved by those who live there for its village feel and sense of community.

i Live in Spensley Road and trying to get out of the village at any time is a big problem all so when i perches my house i did so as the out look over the railway and field is what i envoy all so the the asses on to park road is on that bend is dangerous and the Harlington turn. we do not need any more housing

This proposal is way too large. The village wont cope with the extra people traffic and demand on services. Dont build extra houses here.

The village couldn't cope if these houses get built. The road is busy enough with the traffic coming through the village.
Choose somewhere else to build. We want to stay a village.

The local services are already stretched,this will impact on our lovely village, traffic is a huge problem im concerned about the safety of our children during drop off and collections from school already , this will only make things worse, we cant sustain the proposed development, please live the village as it is and dont put any more pressure on it that it wont be able to cope with.

The road through Westoning is busy enough in morning and evening, trying to get out from side roads onto main road is a nightmare and can be waiting up to 10mins to get onto that road.
The village has a small school which couldn't cope with the amount of potential children these houses would bring.
Main reason I moved to Westoning is to live in a small little village .

Completely object to this proposal. The danger of increased traffic flow is a major concern. Traffic levels are already high and the location of the development will add more problems. The village is not able to sustain this development. The local services do not have the capacity to cope with this. The local school will be severely impacted at a time when budgets are already being stretched. This will ultimately impact on our children's education. The green belt land should continue to be protected. Please don't ruin our village.

Develop brown sites instead of green belt. There are not enough public services for the increase in population but as I have very little faith in anything the council do I imagine they will push it through in any case
