No to the plans destroying the character of the historic centre of Olhão in Portugal

Please do not destroy the special magic of a unic place in Portugal.

Please keep our history intact!

Keep it as it is. This will deter sympathetic tourists and encourage the disrespectful.

Been to Olhao and was impressed by the beauty and authenticity of the village. It would be a crime to destroy all of that!

I visited Olhao for the first time this summer and plan to return again next summer. I found it a very traditional town centre and it would be a great shame to deface the low rise skyline it with inappropriate blocks of flats.

Olhao is lovely just as it is, please don't spoil it. Please don't create a marins for the wealthy boat owners, Olhao's fishing industry matters more.

Who are the idiots who would come up with a proposal like this? Just because they are tempted by the idea of money from the EU is not a good reason to destroy this wonderful town. Have they not heard the fable of the killing of the golden goose? Modernise Olhao and lose your attraction as a holiday destination.

Please keep the unique historic City of Olhao!

Modernising the centre of Olhão would be a terrible mistake. There's no beach, so it relies on the charm and the antiquity of the town to attract tourists. Lose the ancient architecture and character of Olhão and the tourist numbers will drop. If this project goes ahead the negative impact could destroy the local economy.

I object to the Olhao plans and want to keep the historical centre unchanged.

Olhao is such a great town with so much character. If anything changed there it would be terrible. We're looking forward to returning and finding it exactly the same. We've also told all our friends and family how wonderful it is. Please keep it as we know it!!!

Don't make a terrible mistake by destroying the things people like. It will turn against you. Watch Spain France and the U.K..

Olhaó is a treasure like few others. The charm of this undisturbed town is its authentic style and commitment to way of live. The municipality's proposals would mark a dangerous point of departure from this life, and would only serve the interests of a few property developers , outweighed by the thousands who would lose out

Olhão is my favorite spot in Portugal, because of the typical white cubist houses in the old center. I would be very disappointed to see its charm dissapear

As a frequent visitor to Olhoa old town restoration rather than renovation would be a better idea.
