Destroying the character of this beautiful town will be like ripping the heart right out of it. Is the camera aware that rather than serve to encourage tourism it will have the opposite effect. The reason that tourism is improving in olhao is precisely what they plan on destroying. Please don't let this happen.

Stop destroying Olhao! The authenticity makes it very special and unique, especially if you compare it to all the other cities in the Algarve. Keep this uniqueness and Olhao will become an even more popular city for tourists to visit. Tourists especially like the traditional quaintness, not some fancy modern buildings, they can see them at home.

We will be moving to the region shortly and it was all because we loved the unspoiled town of Olhao. We have no interest in the modernised towns to the west of Faro - keep the Eastern Algarve traditional please!!!
