No to the plans destroying the character of the historic centre of Olhão in Portugal

I fight for Olhao, and it would be tragic if the plan went through.

Please don't change this wonderful place

I regularly go on holiday to the city and I think what they want to do it wrong.

Make changes but let the changes improve and compliment the character of what is there

Olhao is a beautiful, traditional and unspoilt area of Portugal. It would be a terrible shame to lose this by removing the historic areas.

Olhao is so beautiful we have had many wonderful stays here and will always return to its historic centre for family holidays. It appalls us to think that this magical area might be threatened.

Why ruin the character of Olhao.?People who want modern can travel further along to the western Algarve tourist spots

Seems like madness to destroy the character of the town.

We have been regular visitors to Olhao during the last five years - it is one of the few cities that keep their traditional beauty. Why destroy it and be like everyone else? Our best!

The authentic charm of Olhao is wonderful and should be preserved. I can't imagine it would have the same appeal without its old buildings and incredible character

We first visited Olhao 8 years ago. It is an amazing town with lots of charm, warmth and very different from what we have seen of the Algarve. The people are lovely too. We chose Olhao for our first family holiday, with our baby son, and intend to return as often as possible. It would be sad If we as a family are unable to further experience a beautiful, unspoilt gem, such is Olhao.

Please keep the historic center as it is! It is beautiful and very charming. We love to spend our holidays in Olhao with our family. Greetings from Berlin, Germany

The cubist houses are really wonderful and worth to restore the original character.

Please keep the historic centre intact. It is of great value to the people of Olhao.
