Olhao is a beautiful charming place and should not be redeveloped. It is because of what its like now that so many people visit

I´ve been to Olhao twice during the last two years. I found this beautiful town with its wonderful atmosphere by chance in 2014 and spent wonderful holidays with my kids in Olhao. And I knew immediately , that I had to come there again. So I spent another week in Olhao this year. What were my reasons to return to Olhao? The very special atmosphere of old buildings, small lanes, the charme of forgotten centuries, that you can find there and the lack of huge Hotel-Complexes. Keep the individuality of your beautiful town, don´t make the same mistakes other cities did, when they sacrificed their history and charakter to Tourism. Olhao is uncomparable and unique. And that´s what makes it so lovable. And that was and will be my reason to return...

What a beautiful and charming place to visit-please don't change this! One of the most memorable destinations!

This is a beautiful town which I love and would hate to see it spoilt.

I visited my aunt who lives in Olhao in July from Scotland and had a wonderful time. I would be strongly against destroying the historic centre.

The historic center is unique and beautiful! Don't do anything to it!
