The density of this development us excessive and the impact on an existing creaking infrastructure under the additional developments in east calder have not been properly considered. In addition to these.material considerations the land owner has shown a disregard for community feeling with regards his illegal felling of trees and reneged on a commitment to the community to allow upgrade to the bath between Hogg Hill and mid calder.

I object to the proposal to build more houses in an area where there is insufficient infrastructure to support them. It would also merge two distinct villages together and destroy valuable green space.

The wildlife would be ruined..... it's also where akor of people walk their dogs........ that would destroyed. NO more houses! Schools, medical centre, chemist can't cope now never mind with an increase in the community!

Before we have any new houses let’s sort out schools, doctors surgery, roads. Can the sewage works even cope with these new proposed houses? Not even considering the loss of more green spaces, the buffer between East & Mid Calder and the upset to local wildlife.

I object to this proposal due the wild life that can be found on this land. It is amazing how these animals come so close to a built up area....if this land was removed where would they go...I don’t see you removing people from their homes to make space for the animals.

Developers should leave this area alone.it will just be an eyesore and more importantly have a massive impact on the wildlife.

We should have green buffer between East Calder and Mid Calder to help maintain air and environmental quality. Also no further housing developments should take place in the area until roads, schools, the doctors surgery and sewage systems have been upgraded to cope with an increase in the number of people living in the area.

roads, schools, gp surgery, pharmacy all cant cope at moment and this proposal will cause even more chaos not only with the extra housing but with construction traffic also!!! plus I believe there is a local council planning policy that addresses keeping the integrity and character of separate villages, therefore this area is protected country side and boundary between the east and mid calder villages

The traffic is already bad driving from Mid Calder for East Calder in the mornings, this would just make it worse.

Absolutely ridiculous idea the surgery, roads & schools can't cope at present. Leave the villages to be villages!

The A71 can't cope with any more cars. The infrastructure isn't keeping up with the house building.
