I will be honest, I am a communist. I believe the government and bureaucrats should decide what to build and where. That is why I support this petition. I figure most people in Glendale are Republicans which is why I find it so strange that they want government bureaucrats like the councilman and a government planner deciding what businesses are allowed to build and where. Sounds like communism to me. Don't Republicans believe the free market and entrepreneurs should be the ones to decide what we need? Oh well, people are weird. I sign this petition because I support getting more government bureaucrats involved in our day to day lives.

As a Christian woman I believe every word of the bible. Which is why this StayApt issue troubles me so much. I read Romans 12:13 which says: “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” Obviously it is unChristian of me to deny these people who need housing and StayApt is clearly providing hospitality. So I asked my Pastor and he said I could ignore this verse. So I will ... Kick those bums out! Show them no mercy! Get out of our town transients! YUCK!

I wish we could just build a big sign at the border of Glendale that reads "No Poor People Allowed!" Basically, that is basically what I want. But I guess that is illegal in America (something about people having the freedom to go where they want to go). So if we can't outlaw poor people, the next best thing is to make it so nobody is allowed to build anything other than houses. If we only build houses, only middle to upperclass people can live here. Great plan right? That is why this StayApt is so dangerous. If we let other types of housing to be built, other types of people can invade our town! So let's keep excluding poor people! Don't let your guard down Glendale! Let's show those poor people what we are made of and what we think of you: STAY OUT! GET OUT!

No to STAYAPT

"Extended stays provide temporary housing for transients." This point is a great one! I don't want transients to have housing! I want them to be forced to live out on the streets. I love to see them living in tents under bridges and along sidewalks. Would much rather see them suffer there instead of safely indoors. Make them live in tents!

I read in the Nextdoor group that Polka Dot Bikini Wax was in trouble? NOPE! This StayApt is going to ruin the character of this neighborhood. Arrowhead is a small town community with small town values. And when I think of a small town I think of bikini waxing. So if they want to take away our culture, if they want to take away our ability to wax, then they are going to have to go through me first. Don’t let StayAPT build here.

NO WAY! This will change the character of our beautiful neighborhood! I mean just look at all the character will be losing. This historic Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store. That place so special, so precious, we must preserve the character of Bob's. Then I look across at Jersey Mike's Subs. Think of what we are losing! The memories of eating a greasy sandwiches that have way too much mayo at Jersey Mike's. How can they do this to us!?! No No No! Don't even get me started on the charm of Polka Dot Bikini Wax that will be right across the street from the proposed site of this StayApt. The charm of this neighborhood will never be the same.
