THIS HAS ALL THE POTENTIAL 0F CAUSING DETERIORATION OF SURROUNDING BUISNESSES & NEIGHBORHOODS. THERE IS THE ADDED SAFETY CONCERN OF ANYONE USING THE WALKING/BIKING PATH THAT IS A SHORT DISTANCE EAST OF THE PROPOSED "HOTEL" WHICH RUNS FROM GROVERS AVE AT N. 70th Rd., SOUTH TO SKUNK CREEK (NORTH SIDE) WHERE IT SWINGS EAST RIGHT NEXT TO RESIDENCES, CROSSES N. 69th AVE RIGHT PAST A PARK/PLAYGROUND CONTINUING EAST NEXT TO MORE RESIDENCES TO N. 67th AVE & BEYOND. THIS ISN'T WHY I MOVED MY FAMILY TO GLENDALE!

This should not be built next to residential homes and families.

Extended stay or short term rental have horrible impacts on neighborhoods with an increase in crime. Budget Suites at 27th Ave and Yorkshire is a prime example. Houses being rented on short term use is an increasing problem the City needs to crack down on. Let’s get this under control by not allowing a conditional zoning for more of these problems to persist.

This will increase crime for certain.

In a time when sex trafficking is at an all time high in our state, this is a terrible location for a non-vetted housing property... Our community will feel unsafe shopping in this shopping district and the close proximity to the school puts our children in danger. The city of Glendale needs to do better than this.

This change of zoning is only for the benefit of a business without regard for the safety, peace and property values of neighbors/neighborhoods. Voters have a long memory and will vote their dissatisfaction if this change of zoning occurs.

The concept is flawed for the need of this project and is shortsighted by the city for short-term tax base for a declining market base. Stores are closing as well as food outlets.
