NO TO STAYAPT EXTENDED STAY

Our family experience with the existing Extended Stay nearby includes the sexual assault of a mentally disabled child by a 37 year old. The length of 73rd Ave from this location to Union Hills has 3 homes facing the street, so no one will be watching, no cameras will catch illegal acts or bad actors. Access to in an area with low density quarter and half acre lots and few or no cameras facing 73rd is a security issue for residents. This will devalue properties and the name "Secluded Acres" will mean nothing with hotel guest peering into yards. The location is NOT zoned for this use, and is a terrible spot for a variance.

This is not the neighborhood for this hotel. This is a very quiet, safe, peaceful neighborhood for elderly people and families with children. This would completely change if this hotel were to go in. Also, we have one of the only safe malls left in the area and this would change also.

I have seen what Budget Suites has done to our area at 27th Ave and Yorkshire. Heavy drugs and homeless mess. Please do not continue these types of housing.

Glendale should NOT,Absolutely Not to allow Subsidizing buildings in the wonderful neighborhood that it is ,you are down grading not only the value of houses but also downgrading the nice neighborhood and putting everyone at risk for drugs and crime is exactly what the city is allowing, this will happen and city of Glendale will be responsible for this Unacceptable act if this building is put up. Peole of Arizona can thank your legislation (who signed a bill)to allow this exact thing to happen in Arizona. Everyone needs to look up Az.legislation on all who voted on this to be allowed in our neighborhoods (you would be sadly surprised the people who voted for this).Don't vote these people in congress again who is on the list .
